Managing Associate

As a Managing Associate specialising in IP/ICT, you will be responsible for Beyond’s IP/ICT department, including :

• Managing the various files relating to data protection, ICT, commercial contracts, e-commerce, media, telecommunications and intellectual property;
• Supervising the work and organisation of the other junior associate(s);
• Advising startups as well as established Belgian and international companies;
• Involvement in the ongoing development of the company through marketing and visibility initiatives;
• Involvement in the management of the company.

What we expect:

• You have successfully completed a Master’s degree in law at a Belgian university; an additional Master’s degree is a plus ;
• You have an excellent academic background and very good analytical skills;
• You have more than 5 years’ experience in a law firm specialising in IP/ICT or data protection;
• Your mother tongue is French or Dutch. You have an excellent command of English and a good command of the other national language;
• You are dynamic, rigorous, well organised, a team player, interested in new economic and legal developments, entrepreneurial and pragmatic;
• You are not required to bring in clients.
