Junior Associate
We are looking for a Junior Associate (between 0 and 3 years of experience) to reinforce our Corporate and Commercial practice as of September 2026. You will be a core contributor to the team, with increasing autonomy and direct client engagement. You will manage and advance matters end-to-end under the supervision of a senior lawyer.
As part of our dynamic team, you will work on a wide variety of complex corporate law matters, including:
- venture capital operations and fundraisings,
- mergers and acquisitions (M&A),
- corporate (re)structuring and group reorganisations,
- corporate housekeeping and governance,
- director’s liability,
- post-transaction disputes and litigation, and
- not-for-profit law.
You may also be involved in a wide variety of commercial law and soft IP law matters, in both advisory and litigation roles, depending on your interests and the firm’s needs.
In this role you will
- manage matters with increasing autonomy appropriate to your experience under the supervision of a senior lawyer,
- act as a direct contact for clients building trust through responsiveness and clarity,
- translate legal frameworks into practical and forward-looking advice,
- work in transaction-driven environment requiring communication, organisation and precision,
- Contribute to firm visibility through involvement in the entrepreneurial ecosystem (incubators, events, workshops and production of legal content), and
- contribute to internal knowledge development.
What we expect
We are seeking a lawyer who combines technical strength and thoroughness with commercial judgment and strong client focus. You have:
- a master’s degree in law from a Belgian university (additional postgraduate qualification is a plus);
- an excellent academic background and very good analytical skills;
- 0 to 3 years of experience in corporate and transactional law in a reputable law firm;
- hands-on experience with venture capital and M&A transactions strongly preferred;
- a problem-solving mindset and the ability to propose pragmatic legal solutions;
- the ability to work both independently and as part of a team,
- native Dutch or French speaker, with excellent command of English and a good command of the other national language;
